What do apartments cost and is there a maintenance charge?

The purchase and maintenance charge cost depends on the Residence that interests you – see the Residences tab

Can an owner source furnishings and decorations they want to have permanently in their apartment e.g. artwork or vases, rugs etc?

Yes – provided that they meet Fire, Health & Safety regulations 

Can an owner rent his apartment to his friends direct?

Yes – they can.

Can I rent out my apartment commercially?

Yes - this is one of the services offered to all Owners. 

Is it easy to sell on my apartment?

Yes - we offer a comprehensive service.

Can an owner sell his apartment direct to someone who wants to buy it? If not what’s the process?

Yes – as long as the buyers will agree with being vetted and agree with the ship rules and community-style.

Where do the ships go?

Each residential ship operates its own distinct voyages  – see the tab for each Residence in which you are interested.

Can I cook for myself and my friends?

Every apartment comes with a fridge and pantry space; on some yachts there are full kitchens, on others, residents can book out guest lounges that are equipped with a full kitchen. In all instances, they may cook for themselves, engage one of the brigade of onboard chefs to cook for them or have an amazing meal delivered to order and of course ever Residence has a choice of outstanding restaurants.

Are communications easy?

Yes, the Residences each have state of the art communications so residents can communicate freely by telephone and the internet makes staying in touch and working aboard, simple.

What degree of care is provided by onboard hospital?

Each Residence at Sea has a fully equipped hospital staffed round the clock by nurses and physicians providing first aid, urgent medical attention and a range of complementary services including weight loss, anti-aging, immune therapies, detoxification treatments and dietary planning.
